Dear Friends

We are writing with respect to the monetary contributions which many people have kindly donated to us towards payment of wander’s medical funds. Given Wander’s sudden demise, we have been left with a balance sum of money. As many of you are aware, any balance from contributions would ordinarily go to the shelter towards payment and upkeep of the animals.

As a registered non-profit organization, we are prepared to allow donors who have contributed to Wander’s Medical funds to request a refund of their contribution. To facilitate this arrangement, all such donors are to email to us at refund2011@hotmail.com and to provide us with original cash receipt (s) accompanied by your full name and contact details (for cheque issuance purposes) within 30 days from the date of the publication of this notice. Please produce the reference number if donation (s) are made via internet banking. Donors may email the above if there are any enquiries.

If we do not receive emails from donors requesting to have their contributions refunded within the stipulated deadline, it shall be deemed that donors have no objections toward leaving their contributions to us to be used for the payment and upkeep of the animals under Mdm Wong Shelter’s care.

MWS will present the auditing report after the refund issue is completed. We seek your cooperation and understanding for any inconvenience caused as we are still working on new committee for MWS. Many things need to be sorted out in proper administration system and we are trying to improve on it. We also seek your continuous support in our cause towards the betterment of the animals.

Lastly, We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mutts & Mittens for waiving off the fees for Wander’s boarding, cremation and medical care.

Let’s continue to focus our energies on the less fortunate animals.

Mr. David Lee, Director of MWS, will be releasing a statement regarding Wander’s Medical Fund, on this Saturday, 12 March at 2pm at MWS.
The objective of this meeting is to clear any doubts and assure everyone that MWS is a registered NPO which upholds our integrity and we strongly encourage all interested parties to attend. The press will be present during this session to promote transparency. During the session, questions may be asked by members of the public and directed to the relevant person.
